As an executive and leader and then as a coach and consultant to many other leaders, one question dominated my thinking; “how do we improve our ability to get the results we want?” As a person eager to be successful in all my endeavors, to live a rich and full life and to have the relationships that would enhance my life, I sought to better understand how to achieve these personal desires.

This quest first took me into the exploration of leadership, strategy, motivation, organization effectiveness and performance improvement. I became knowledgeable, if not proficient, in the disciplines of sales, marketing, engineering, operations, accounting, finance, IT and HR. I learned how an organization, a collective of individuals, come together to achieve a common purpose.

While traveling this path of business I simultaneously explored the fields of psychology, personal growth, human potential and relationships. I explored the various religions and spiritual paths to gain a deeper understanding of our place in the cosmos and sought to understand what biology and physics might teach me about how life works.

Little did I know that these two paths were, in fact, a single journey, a journey towards understanding how life is manifest, how results are created, and how we as individuals and collectives of individuals (organizations, from two to thousands) create the outcomes we get, whether they are the ones we want or not.

Along the way I evolved a deep understanding of why we often don’t get the results we say we want. How the existing worldview, based on the mechanistic approach of Newtonian science, actually works against us. And discovered an age-old wisdom that is applicable to today’s world as it has been for all of human existence.

This life long journey has now become my life’s purpose. To help others, individuals and organizations, transform how they view and approach their challenges so they can better achieve what they truly desire.
